About Us
Tailor Cut Produce was founded in 1997 by David Young. A chef by training, he saw an opportunity to shortcut the preparation process in hotel and restaurant kitchens by providing ready-to-use prepared vegetables on a daily basis. He started in a small kitchen on Abeel Street in New Brunswick, NJ and quickly had to expand. Today, we still make everything fresh for each order, but we've grown into a much larger facility in North Brunswick. Most of our products are now available through regional food service and produce distributors, enhancing our ability to get fresh product to you each day.

Our Production Team
Our production team is composed of the many individuals responsible for storing, cleaning, preparing, cutting, and packaging the products we make. A few of them have been with us more than 20 years, leading more junior employees and making sure they receive the guidance and training they need. Their commitment to quality ensures you get the product you need, and on the busiest days their superhuman efforts ensure you get your product on time.
